Greg John Duncan

Greg Duncan, 61, of Lenoir, passed away on July 17, 2024.

He was born on January 12, 1963 to the late Jay Duncan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Susan; son, Gregory Duncan (Stephanie); daughter, Grace Shook (Raven), step-son, Cody Myers; grandchildren, Balin, Parker, Josiah, and Maverick; step-mother, Jean Duncan; two brothers, and one step sister.

Greg served 21 and a half years in the Navy as a Chief Navigator.  He loved to fish, going to the beach, and thrift store shopping just to a name few.  Most of all, he loved his family, church, and the Lord.  Greg “Pops” was adored by his many grandchildren.  He was always smiling and loved to talk about the Lord.

There will be a memorial service to honor Greg’s life on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Flemings Chapel Baptist Church in Lenoir with Pastor David Payne, Pastor Brian Smith, and Preacher Steve Parker officiating.
