Harold D. Hoyle

Harold “Buck” Dean Hoyle, 67, of Lenoir, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Caldwell County on March 26, 1949 to the late Euray Hagaman Hoyle and Ila Campbell Hoyle. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis Hoyle, Paul Hoyle and Jerry Hoyle. Mr. Hoyle is survived by his children, Joshua Hoyle and wife, Erica; Michael McKinney and wife, Marti; Tamara McQueeney and husband Jimmy; brothers, Ted Hoyle and wife, Peggy and Larry Hoyle and wife, Pearl; sisters, Katherine Tolbert and husband, Allen and Jeanette Roberts and husband, Toylee; his former wife, Mary Hoyle who remained very close with him throughout the years; and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his special caregiver, Randy Poarch; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mr. Hoyle will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Jeff Hoyle officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 prior to the service. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to Caldwell Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
