Harold Dean Kincaid

Harold Dean Kincaid, age 85, of Cottrell Hill Road, Lenoir, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care-Kirkwood.He was born January 2, 1933 in Caldwell County to the late George and Roxie Anna Simmons Kincaid.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Vannoy Kincaid; son, Timothy Harold Kincaid; sisters, Ruth Kincaid Robbins, Edna Kincaid Tuttle, Carrie Kincaid Bush; brothers, infant brother Earnest Kincaid, Wade Kincaid, and Reverend C.H. Kincaid. Mr. Kincaid was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for many years and Flemings Chapel Baptist Church for many years and retired from Kincaid Furniture Company. Survivors include a son David Kincaid and wife Kim of Granite Falls; grandchildren, Jessica Kincaid of Charlotte, Caleb Kincaid and wife Lacey of Lenoir, Dustin Kincaid of Charlotte, and Kyle Kincaid of Granite Falls; and two great-grandchildren, Eden Faith Kincaid and Wayland Grey Kincaid; brothers, Ben Kincaid and wife Louise of Lenoir; sister, Louise Kincaid Taylor of Lenoir; godson, Dean Arnette and wife LaRaye of Lenoir. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 4:00 pm at Evans Funeral Service Chapel conducted by Reverend Frank Hall.The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials made to Harold’s great-granddaughter, Eden Faith Kincaid, who battles with Type 1 diabetes, 5306 Ebenezer Church Road, Granite Falls, NC28630.
