Lenoir- Mr. Harvey T. “Pant/Pat” Foster, age 80, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 after a brief illness.Born May 28, 1935 in Wilkes County, he was a son of the late William T. and Esther H. Foster. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, John Wesley (Billy) Foster, A.G. Jr. (Gee) Foster, one sister, Norma F. Hicks and two sons, Keith and Billy Ray. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Wanda Harmon Foster, one sister, Wanda Walsh, 5 brothers, Paul, Raymond, James, Harold and Donald Foster; four sons; one daughter and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, September 13, 2015 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Reverend Roger Beck, Reverend Gwyn Johnson and Reverend Horace Minton officiating.Burial will follow in the Beaver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilkes County. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, one hour prior to the service. Pallbearers will be:Ricky Foster, Paul Crisp, Gwyn Foster, Leroy Guy, Roy Guy, Gary Guy and Austin Guy.
