Irene Elizabeth Irvine

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Irene Elizabeth Mikusa Irvine, age 92, of Lenoir, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Lenoir Health Care Center. Born November 4, 1918 in Canton, Ohio, Irene was a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Mikusa. She had worked as a printer for many years and was Methodist by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Irvine; a sister, Lillian Bryant; and two brothers, Frank Lasduck and Edward Mikusa. She is survived by her son, Martin Irvine, Sr.; a grandson, Martin Irvine, Jr.; a granddaughter, Dawn C. Barbachano; four great grandchildren, Jeffery Stocker, Duncan Irvine, Shawn Barbachano, and Madalyn Irvine; a special pet, Hammy; Irene is also survived by numerous other relatives. The family will be holding a private service at the Hollywood Memorial Gardens in Hollywood, Florida at a later time.
