Jack P DeRancy

Jack DeRancy, 73, of Lenoir, North Carolian, passed away on April 14, 2026.

Jack was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie DeRancy; his daughters, Heather Moser and Samantha Selg; his cherished grandchildren, Aria Moser, Cora Selg, and Brody Selg; and his sister Denise DeRancy.

Jack had a lifelong passion for working on old cars. Whether he was restoring a classic or simply tinkering in the garage, he found joy in bringing things back to life and sharing that passion with those around him. His hands were rarely still, and his dedication and pride in his work were evident to anyone who knew him.

Above all, Jack treasured his family. He was a steady presence, offering love, support, and quiet strength. His legacy lives on in the memories he created, the lessons he shared, and the love he gave so freely.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, his hardworking nature and the deep love he had for his family.

The family has entrusted Evans Funeral Service and Crematory with arrangements.
