James “Doc” Albert Patrick, 87, peacefully passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025.
Doc was born on July 15, 1937, to the late Birder and Nannie Patrick.
In addition to Doc’s parents, he is preceded in death by his sons, William “Billy” Patrick, James “Jimmy” Patrick; brothers, Frank Patrick, Sonny Patrick, Harold Patrick, and sister, Joyce Woody.
Those left to cherish Doc’s memory are his daughter Lisa White (Michael); sisters, Helen Young and Barbara Randolph; special daughter, Anita Hatcher (Doug); and several loved grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Doc served in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Alaska. Doc was a prominent member of the business Community, owning Domestic and Import Auto Parts with his brother. Doc was an active member of the Moose Fraternity. He achieved the status of The Pilgrim Degree of Merit. He attended Liberty Baptist Church.
He loved the Boston Red Sox, woodworking, and spending times with his grandchildren.
A service to honor Doc’s life will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans with Preacher Dewey Bristol officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans. Burial will follow at McDowell Memorial Park.
