Beyond his professional life, Roger had a zest for hobbies that brought joy to those around him. He had a particular fondness for restoring old vehicles, showcasing both his skill and passion. He found peace in the quiet solitude of fishing and enjoyed many lively evenings bowling with friends, creating memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.
Roger was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Augustine Hart Lewis, who was his partner in all things, as well as his brother, Ernie Lewis, and sister, Carolyn Lewis Harpe. Despite these losses, Roger's spirit remained resilient and full of life, inspiring those around him.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his sister-in-law, Mavis Hart Leonard, brother-in-law, Clarence Hart, and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly but forever hold him in their hearts.
