Jessica Emily Ormand

Lenoir, NC- Jessica Emily Ormand was suddenly taken from her loved ones October 22, 2009 in a tragic accident. She will be missed more than anyone can imagine by her son, Isaac Jacob Villarreal, her parents, Ted and Karen Ormand, her brother Adam and his wife Heather, and her grandmother Irene Smith and Uncle Malcolm Smith. Jessica grew up in Laurinburg, NC where she graduated from high school. She attended Appalachian State for several years including study at a German University. She served in the Navy on the USS Eisenhower. Later with her son Isaac, she returned and graduated from Appalachian State with a degree in Interior Design. In Grade school she played the flute and in college began learning to play the bagpipe. Her passion in the last four years has been riding her motorcycle and attending riding and racing events. A celebration of Jessica?s life will be held 11:00 Monday, October 26, 2009 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor Steve Austin officiating. Â Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service, Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM.
