Lenoir – Jimmy Wayne Lovett, born on May 01, 1962 in Topeka, Kansas and passed away March 02, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson after a brief illness. In loving memory of Jimmy Lovett. He is remembered for his contagious laugh and his unconditional love for his family. He loved to have a good time with his family and close friends. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and was an avid Nascar fan. He was known by his family and friends in many unique ways. To his friends he was often known as “Jimbo”, to his nieces and nephews he was called “Bobo”. He loved everyone that was close to him and would greet you with a friendly fist bump. The Bible tells us in book of John that if we have heard the Word and believe on him that we are promised everlasting life. Jimmy is finally able to rest after a long very tiresome journey. We love you Jimmy. He is preceded in death by Wilma and Warren Wingfield (Maternal Grandparents), Molly and Bernard Lovett (Paternal Grandparents), Betty and Bob Sheck (Mother and Step-Dad), Bobby Lovett, Sr. (Father), Bobby Lovett, Jr., Tony Lovett, (Brothers), Patricia Lovett (Sister). He is survived by his sister Ann Worley (Spouse Chris Worley) of Hudson, NC; two brothers Steven Lovett (Spouse Jason Kilgo), of Houston, TX and Christopher Lovett of Lenoir; Spouse Tammy Lingle Lovett;Stepsons (Michael, Jeff, CW (Kayla-Fiance);Nieces: April Wingler (Jordan) Kristi Burkett, Ashleigh Cornelius (Travis), Erika Huffman; he is also survived by grandchildren and many great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at 6:00 PM with Pastor Nicky Waters and Pastor Mark Dula officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
