Johnnie Bean

Mr. Johnnie Ray Bean, age 69, of Lenoir passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2020 at his home. Johnnie was born March 9, 1951 in Greenbriar County, West Virginia.He was a son of the late Jay Coy and Edna Withrow Bean.Johnnie loved the outdoors.He especially enjoyed camping and deer hunting.He enjoyed road trips and listening to his music. He is survived by his two children, Steven Ray Bean and Michelle Bean Tummings; five sisters, Dolly Blake, Lula McGee, Millie Ann Bean Plyer, Rosemary Bentley and Marie Bolick; two brothers, Jack Bean and Jay Bean, Jr.; three grandchildren, Danielle Bean, Raelin Tummings and Jenna Tummings; one great grandchild, Mason Epler; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Heavenly Hope Baptist Church at 1:00PM with Pastor Keith Phelps officiating.
