Johnny Harold Mann Lenoir – Johnny Harold Mann, 88, was born on December 14, 1929 in Quitman, LA to Benjamin and Mattie Mann. Johnny went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson. Johnny served in the U.S. Army for four years. He, also, retired after 33 years from ADT Security in Wilmington, DE before moving back to Lenoir, NC to be close to his family. Johnny loved the Lord , taught Sunday School, served as a deacon, and a member of Crestview Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his sister, Mattie Clark, and his brother, Thomas Mann. Johnny is survived by his wife of 13 years, Shirley Mann; one brother, Herman Mann, and wife Jean; two step-daughters: Deborah Dunn, and husband Joe, and LaDonna Beaurgard, and husband Bob; and one step-son, Keith Wright, and wife Beth; as well as several grandchildren. A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held at Evans Funeral Chapel on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm; with Pastor Mike Isaacs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Internment will immediately follow the service at Hibriten Baptist Church Cemetery located in Sawmills.
