Johnsie Estelle Hice, 93, passed away in Hickory on February 21, 2018. Mrs. Hice was born on September 27, 1924 to the late John and Lola Mae Auton. Mrs. Hice, in addition to her parents, is preceded in death by her husband Albert Hice; one grandson, Phillip Hice; and brothers and sisters. Mrs. Hice is survived by her sons Paul Hice and wife, Sue; Albert Hice Jr; daughter, Deborah Hice; grandchildren Paula Tufts and Myfawny Ruiz; and three great grandchildren. There will be a graveside service to honor Mrs. Hice’s life on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 11:00 am at Bethel Advent Christian Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeffery Austin officiating.
