Jolene Triplett

Lenoir – Iris Jolene Triplett, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Hudson. Mrs. Triplett was born in Caldwell County on April 1, 1928 to the late Lawrence Hamby and Ethel Bolick Hamby. Mrs. Triplett was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She was a life-time member of Yadkin Baptist Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, J.C. Triplett and her infant son, Michael Triplett. Mrs. Triplett is survived by her daughter, Sharon Triplett; sister, Wanda Suddreth and husband, Keith; brothers, Gene Hamby and wife Sarah; Bruce Hamby and wife, Gladys; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at Yadkin Baptist Church Cemetery on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Stuart White officiating.
