Joseph C. Hood

Joseph C. Hood, 81, peacefully passed away on Monday, November 3, 2025 at his residence.

Joseph was born May 11, 1944 to the late Leonard and Bernice Hood.

In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Greene Hood, daughter, Rebecca Winters, brothers, Alfred Hood, Daniel Hood, James Hood, Bobby Hood; and sister, Violet Harmon.

Those left to cherish Joseph’s memory are his children, Sandra Miller (Larry), Terry Hood; sister, Mildred Smith; seven grandchildren, great grandchildren, numerous loved nieces, nephews and friends.

Joseph loved to fish and hunt. He would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
