Junior Bristol

Mr. Earl “Junior” Bristol, age 78, of Lenoir passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice in Lenoir. Born February 17, 1939 in Caldwell County, Junior was a son of the late Richard and Minnie Johnson Bristol. He enjoyed watching Nascar, Football and was rarely seen without his sidekick, his pet Sam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Carl Bristol, a sister, Collene Roark. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jeanette Bristol; two sons, Richard Bristol (wife Kelly) and Bobby Bristol, both of Lenoir; two brothers, Bill Bristol and Lee Bristol; a sister Dorothy Townsend; grandchildren, Kyle Bristol, Brooklyn Tilger, Allison Bristol; his great grandchildren, Hailey Bristol, Kaiden Bristol, and Nash Tilger; he is also survived by numerous other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Junior’s life will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Miller Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Prevette officiating.
