Hudson, NC- Mr. Junior ?Ray? Gragg, age 54, of Hudson, died Friday, April 2, 2010 in Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care. Born January 25, 1956 in Watauga County, Ray was a son of Floyd Enlo Gragg and the late Mary Watson Gragg. Ray was a member of Harris Chapel Baptist Church and attended Open Door Baptist Church and was a CNA. Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Gragg and Patricia Gragg. Surviving other than his father, is his wife Cathy Greene Gragg of the home; one son, Steven Greene of the home; one step-daughter, Kendall Gragg of the home; three God-daughters, Alexas Coburn, Chasity Price and Tiffany Greene, all of Lenoir; 3 sisters, Debbie Auton and husband Mansfield; Stephanie Greene and husband Jeffery; Crystal Jackson, all of Lenoir; 3 brothers, David Gragg and wife Patricia; Marty Gragg and wife Sherry; Tony Gragg, all of Lenoir and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Ray?s life will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 6. 2010 in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Preacher Allan Younce and Preacher Brian Auton officiating. Burial will follow in the Hartley Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday, April 5, 2010 from 6 until 7:30 PM at Evans Funeral Service & Crematory in Lenoir and other times at the residence. Pallbearers will be: Buddy Auton, Shannon Gragg, Scott Greene, Dwight Auton, Todd Miller and Trey Sheets.
