Kathy Diane Franklin

Kathy Bryant Franklin of Lenoir passed away on February 16, 2026.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents Ray and Kat Bryant, her brother-in-law Bobby Lambert and her nephew Neal Brown. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Randy Franklin, her daughter Amber Stikeleather and her grandson Rayden Silver.

Additionally, Kathy is survived by her Bryant family, Steve (Billie) Bryant, Dennis Bryant, Rocky (Sandy) Bryant, Linda (Rick) Roberts, Becky Lambert, Sid (Debbie) Bryant, Ryan (Brittany) Storie, her nieces and nephews who knew her as “Aunt Faffy” and many other relatives and friends.

Kathy was employed with Broyhill Furniture Company for 28 years and retired to care for her parents. She loved life and loved laughter! She was loving and kind and generous and mischievous and hilarious. Everyone who knew her loved to spend time with her, she brought everyone great joy. Watching Nascar racing was her favorite thing to do, among other hobbies like thrifting.

The family would like to express a special thank you to JoJo Marr-Paige, Lorene Pope, Tonya Hodge and Sid Bryant for the incredible care they provided for Kathy over the past years.

A receiving with family and friends will be held on Saturday February 21, 2026, from 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM at Union Grove Baptist Church, 1808 Union Grove Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.

Memorials may be sent to Edward Jones Financial, 505 Butternut Lane, Matthews NC 28104. Please note as “Rayden Silver Education Fund”.
