It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our most precious, Keeli Townsend. She went ahead of us to save a seat with our Heavenly Father, October 27, 2025.
Keeli was born in Caldwell County on October 4, 2005, to her mother and best friend, April Townsend Grant. They were inseparable, sharing a bond that surpasses words. Keeli was a student on the path to nursing school. She was an amazing nail artist and lover of music. She loved spending time with her two brothers, laughing with the most infectious laugh that could change any atmosphere around her. Her sense of humor was a highlight of being in her presence. She loved listening to her brother play guitar and doing karaoke with them both. She loved spending time with her mom, whether it be the mundane things of every day, watching TV and talking about life or planning future trips and concerts.
Keeli was preceded in death by her nana, Trina Williams, great aunt, Carolyn Taschner, and great aunt, Jan Payne.
Those left to cherish her memory include her parents, April and Brandon Grant, her brothers, Brayden and Jax Grant, grandmother Lorrie Jolley (Will), aunt Amber Jolley, great grandfather Danny Williams, great aunt Tammy Scott, a multitude of cousins, and a very special friend, Blake Smith.
The loss of this special girl will be felt across the community, as she was loved so dearly by all those she met.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at Evans Funeral Home on Saturday, November 1st, at 1:00 pm, with the service to follow at 2:00 pm.
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine
You make me happy
When the skies are gray
You’ll never know, dear
How much I love you
Please don’t take my sunshine away…
I love you big as the sky.
Love, Mama
