Larry Sanders, 80, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, with his children by his side. Born December 6, 1945, Larry lived a life of loving and providing for his family and giving to those in need.

Larry is preceded in death by his father, Banner Sanders; his mother, Ruth Hicks Sanders, brothers, Danny Sanders, Jackie Sanders, and Terry Sanders; sister, Kay Sanders Chapman. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Scott Sanders (Amy) and DeAnna Sanders Flowers (Toby); grandchildren, Bryan Flowers (Savannah), Dylan Flowers (Skyler), and Lauren Sanders Pritchard (Jarrett); great-grandchildren, Wyatt Flowers, Janson Pritchard, Oaklan Flowers, and his sister, Doris Sanders Warren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at 1:00 PM, at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

The family appreciates the love, prayers, and support shown during this difficult time as they celebrate Larry’s life and cherish the many memories he leaves behind.

Larry loved ALL his children, so in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 50, Memphis, TN, 38101-9929.
