Lewis Edward “Lewdawg” Wilson, 18, of Lenoir NC went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 28, 2021. Lewis was his dad’s HERO, his mom’s “Punkie”, and a senior at South Caldwell High School, where he loved his friends. He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church where he accepted Christ at age 5. As a person of many hobbies and interests, Lewis loved gaming, hunting, fishing, and especially his music, which impacted many lives. He was employed at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Hudson. Lewdawg will be remembered as a selfless, loving, caring young man with the heart of a fighter. He had a contagious smile, a funny sense of humor, and a big heart that remained humble. Lewis was a joy to be around and a bright light to all who met him. He lived by his family motto: Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last and live life to the fullest. Lewis was the son of Danny Wilson, wife Stacey, and Nicole McCreary, husband Jeff. He is survivied by his parents as well as siblings Hunter Hefner, wife Kristen, Hayley Bentley, husband Connor, and Hannah Hefner, as well as a huge loving family. A celebration of life will be held at Mountain Grove Baptist Church, 2485 Connelly Springs Road, Granite Falls, NC 28630 on Saturday, December 11th. The receiving for family and friends will begin at 2:00, with the service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to A New Dimension in Lenoir, NC.
