Lola Mae Sutton

Beloved mother and grandmother Lola Mae Sutton of Patterson, NC went to be with the Lord on July 27, 2019 at age 92, she was preceded in death by her husband Dave Sutton.Lola was the youngest and last of 14 kids born on April 25, 1927 to David and Lura Nelson of Haywood County, NC. She was survived by her children, Christine Coffey (JD), Garrett Sutton (Donna), Marie Greene, JB Sutton (Jeanie), Levaunda Sutton, Angie Hatton (Shannon), Benji Sutton (Lori), Joni Cowick (Terrence).Mom Mom’s special helpers, Caleb, Jocie, Rae, Cooper, and Bo Bo (Brody).She had 7 grandkids, 18 great grandkids, and 3 great-great grandsons. Lola was a born mother, she loved all children as they were her own.She was a member of West Lenoir Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 1, 2019 at 11:00 am at Evans Funeral Service Chapel conducted by Rev. Rick Safriet and Rev. Gary Waters.The family will receive from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home.Interment will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Julian King, Steve Melton, Mike Hosclaw, Thomas Pasquale, Clyde Harmon, and Calvin Faw.
