Lyda Walsh

Boomer- Mrs. Lyda Poole Walsh, age 88, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on December 14, 1929 to the late Charlie Poole and Ella McGee Poole. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Vaughan Walsh; her sister, Inez Poole. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Walsh; grandson, Curtis Walsh; sisters, Mary Shoemaker of Virginia; Jessie Clark of Mt. Airy; Annette Bolick of Lenoir; brother, Clyde Poole of Lenoir; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mrs. Walsh will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, May 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM Pastor Hal Greene; Pastor Robert Livingston and Pastor Robert Webb officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 248Little Rock Church Road, Boomer, NC28606.
