In Loving Memory of Lynae

Today we gather to celebrate the life of our beloved mother, Lynae—a woman whose love, kindness, and gentle spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Lynae was born on October 24, 1963 in Cook County Illinois, to the late Harvey Larsen and Loretta Croc Larsen.

In addition to her parents, Lynae is preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth Larsen, Thomas Larsen, Susan Larsen, and Ronald Rychlowski.

Lynae was taken from us far too soon. There are no words that can truly express the emptiness left by her passing, or how deeply she will always be missed. While her time with us was shorter than we ever imagined, the love she gave will remain in our hearts forever.

Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was the proud mother of five children: Tara, Donny, Mandy, Lindsey, and Andrew. She loved each of us unconditionally, standing by us through life's triumphs and challenges with endless patience, encouragement, and love. Everything she did came from her heart.

Lynae also found immense happiness in her four beautiful grandchildren: Ariana, Jace, Barrett, and Jade and great grandchildren Malik and Astella. They brought light to her life, and she cherished every smile, every laugh, and every moment and phone call, she spent with them. Her love will continue to shine through them for generations to come.

In addition to her children and grandchildren, Lynae is also survived by her older siblings; Jerry Larsen and Sandra Henderson.

Beyond her family, Lynae had a special place in her heart for animals. She showed compassion to every creature she met, believing they deserved kindness and care. She also loved music and art. Whether it was coloring, doodling, painting ceramics with a favorite song playing in the background, dancing or watching live bands, music and art filled her heart with joy and comfort.

Although we grieve the loss of our mother, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the countless ways she made this world better simply by being herself. She taught us the importance of love, compassion, family, and finding joy in life's simple moments.

Mom, we weren't ready to say goodbye. We wish we had more time, more conversations, more hugs, and more memories to make. But we take comfort in knowing that your love did not end when your life did. It lives on in each of us—in your children, your grandchildren, and in the kindness you inspired.

You will forever be our mother, our guide, and our greatest example of unconditional love. We will carry your memory with us every day, honor your legacy, and love one another the way you loved us.

Rest peacefully, Mom. You were deeply loved, you will be forever missed, and you will never, ever be forgotten.
