Mabel Davis

Mabel Greene Davis, age 93, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Carolina Caring in Newton, NC. Born on May 16, 1933, in Caldwell County, NC, Mabel was the beloved daughter of the late Connor and Rinda Greene.

After dedicating 25 years of service as the office manager at Baton Water Works, Mabel retired, leaving behind a legacy of commitment and hard work. She enjoyed attending Baton Baptist Church, where she worshipped and found community until her health no longer allowed her to attend.

Mabel was a wonderful and loving mother who cherished time spent with her family. Her nurturing spirit and infectious smile will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her beloved sons, Mike Davis and Marc Davis.

Mabel leaves behind to cherish her memory her devoted daughter, Judy Davis; grandson, Guy Myers and his wife, Angela; granddaughter, Elizabeth Myers and Scott; daughter-in-law, Tonya Davis; and numerous treasured nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration of Mabel’s life will be held at the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Friday, June 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Ron Greene officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation prior to the service, from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, to share memories and offer condolences.

Mabel’s warmth and strength will live on in the hearts of those she touched so dearly.
