Mrs. Margaret Rainey Francum, 93, passed away on June 10, 2017 at Hickory Falls Health & Rehabilitation+++. Mrs. Francum was born in Caldwell County to the late Edmund Rainey and Laura Church Rainey. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Francum was preceded in death by her husband Jay Boydon Francum and son, Eddie Francum. Mrs. Francum is survived by her son, Lanny Francum, wife Dolly; daughter, Brenda Propst; and five grandchildren. A graveside service was held on June 13, 2017 at Blue Ridge Memorial Park.
