Margaret Pearson Greene

Margaret Pearson Greene passed away November 11, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir after a prolonged illness. She was 79 years old. Margaret was born December 26, 1935 in Wilkes County to Odus and Mary Pearson. She worked in the food industry for many years until her retirement. She resided in the Valmead community of Caldwell County. She is survived by a brother, Paul Pearson of North Catawba. She is also survived by her seven children, Christine Greene of Lenoir, Billy Greene of Blue Creek, Roger Greene of Whitnel, Cherrie Walser of Whitnel, Linda Bell of Lenoir, Tim Greene of Rhodhiss, and Jeff Greene of Lenoir. Along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband Gordon, a brother, Glen, two sisters Charlotte and Irene, and a granddaughter Crystal Lingle. There will be no public memorial. Arrangements handled by Evans Funeral Home. She will be buried in Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir. The family asks that any memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir. Evans Funeral Service and Crematory of Lenoir will be serving the Greene Family.
