Marjorie Barlow Greene

Lenoir- Mrs. Marjorie Barlow Greene, age 73, of Lenoir, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care in Hudson.Born April 4, 1942 in Caldwell County, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Elsie Barnett Barlow. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Janice Surface and brother, Jerry Barlow. Mrs. Greene was retired from Broyhill Furniture’s main office after 37 years of service.She enjoyed cooking, gardening and sewing. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Troy Eugene Greene; her son, Mark Greene of Asheville; a sister, Jeanette Greene and husband Jack of Hudson; a brother, Curtis Barlow and wife Cathy of Hickory and two grandchildren, Joseph Greene of Lenoir and Callie Greene of Granite Falls. A Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, September 21, 2015 in the Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Reggie Wallin and Reverend Josh Clark officiating.
