Mary Elizabeth Gragg Johnson passed away at home surrounded by her family on Friday, September 2, 2022.

She was born April 25, 1937 in Caldwell County to the late Lester and Julia Bolick Gragg.

She was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Johnson Jr., and sister Shirley Coffey.

She is survived by two daughters, Gerhea Chuber and Leslie Cayton and three step-sons, Tim (Beth), Jeff (Patti), and Jason Johnson; grandchildren, Will, Drew, Kathryn, and Jillian; great-grandchildren Ben, Jack and George; step-grandchildren Megan, Justin, Austin, Taylor, and Madison.

She is also survived by five brothers; Troy, Russell, Jerry, Randy, and Richard, and four sisters; Martha, Pat, Caroline and Vicky.

A 12:00 Graveside Service will be held at Globe Baptist Church in Collettesville on Tuesday, September 6, 2022. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Amorem Hospice at 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir.
