Mary Grice Still

Ms. Mary Grice Still, age 57, of Fuquay Varina, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Pruitt Health of Raleigh. Born October 29, 1960 in Caldwell County, Mary was a daughter of the late John Roy and Helen Prestwood Grice.She was a member of Whitnel First United Methodist Church.She enjoyed most in life working, spending time at the ocean and spending time with her son, John Still.In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her fiancé, Thomas John Hatfield; and brother, Jeffrey Prestwood Grice. Survivors include her son, John David Still (wife Casey) of Wilson; a step son, Jacob David Still (wife Lauren) of Raleigh; a sister in law, Enola Grice; two nephews, Jonathan Grice and Christopher Grice; she is also survived by numerous other relatives. A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 3:30 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Casey Proctor officiating.Interment will follow in the Collier’s Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service at the church from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
