It is with profound sadness and hearts full of cherished memories that we announce the passing of Mason Kyle Triplet, 25, of Lenoir, NC. Mason peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Mason was born in North Carolina on August 1, 2000, to Matthew Harrison Triplet and Susan Michele Davenport. Throughout his life, Mason was a beacon of love and kindness, always prioritizing his family and friends with an unwavering devotion.
Mason is lovingly remembered by his son, Waylon Matthew, who was the light of his life. His loving mother, Susan Michelle Davenport, and her husband, Mikeal, continue to hold Mason dearly in their hearts, alongside his father, Matthew Harrison Triplet. Mason's siblings, Tyler Shew and Morgan Shew, along with his extended family, including his PawPaw, Keith Howell, and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins, mourn his passing and celebrate his life.
Mason is preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Lori Howell; grandparents, Garland Ray and Carolyn Staley; and his treasured uncle, Tim Simes, who surely welcomed him with open arms.
Remembered fondly for his love of family, Mason's greatest joy was spending quality time with his son, Waylon, and his niece and nephews, Delaney, Aiden, and Nick. He loved being a father and embraced every moment with his loved ones.
A service to honor Mason's life and legacy will be conducted on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Walking By Faith Baptist Church, 2984 Playmore Beach Road, Morganton, NC 28655, beginning at 3:00 PM. Reverends Marvin Ford and Ryan Smith will officiate the ceremony. Friends are welcome to join the family for a visitation that will take place an hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the church. Afterwards, Mason will be laid to rest at the church cemetery.
The family extends their appreciation to the pallbearers, Tyler Shew, Kaleb Shew, Dalton Robbins, Clarence Calloway, Zachary Walker, and Oswald Zaldivar, for their support and love.
In his professional life, Mason worked as a Machine Operator and was admired for his dedication and hard work by all who knew him. Mason was also known for his cooking skills. He loved to cook for his family and friends.

Mason Kyle Triplet will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in Mason’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice, spreading kindness in a way that honors Mason’s life.
