Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Mildred Elizabeth Craig Lovins, age 75, of Clark?s Chapel Road, died Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care. Born January 26, 1931, Mrs. Lovins was a daughter of the late Wilfong and Effie Craig and the wife of the late John E. Lovins. Mrs. Lovins was a member of Clark?s Chapel Baptist Church where she was active in the Primetimer?s group. Survivors include 2 daughters, Teresa Gryder and husband Todd of Lenoir; Kathy Brown and husband Gary of Greensboro; 4 sons, Bobby Lovins and wife Phyllis, Billy Lovins and wife Judy, David Lovins and Tommy Lovins and wife Andrea all of Lenoir; 2 sisters, Betty Craig and Rachel Craig both of Lenoir, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and Horace Craig and one sister Mary Lou Gragg. Funeral services will be conducted 2 PM Monday, June 12, 2006 at Clark?s Chapel Baptist Church with Dr. David Roberts and Reverend R.J. Lovins officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Evans Funeral Service in Lenoir Sunday from 7 until 8:30 PM. Pallbearers will be: Henry Good, Hoss Prestwood, Ronnie Davidson, Pedro Crump, Bruce Maness and Darrell Triplett. Memorials may be made to Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645 or to Clark?s Chapel Baptist Church, 3212 Clark?s Chapel Road, Lenoir, NC 28645.
