Mildred Inez Punch Jenkins

Mrs. Mildred Inez Punch Jenkins, age 82, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Wake Forest University Medical Center. She was born in Caldwell County on September 25, 1935 to the late James Punch and Ethel Smith Punch. Mrs. Jenkins was a long-time member of Miller Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Dallas Jenkins and four siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Jenkins Laws; Pat Irwin and husband, Van of Beaufort, SC; brother, Ray Punch; granddaughters, Deanna Stafford and husband, Lee; and Lori Hall; great-grandchildren, Mendy Gragg; Trenton Gragg; Trace Gragg; Tristan Graggand her close companion, Jack Clark. A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Thursday at 1:30 PM with Pastor Mack Jarvis officiating. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service from 11:00 until 12:30 prior to the service.
