Myrtle Trivette
February 20, 1951 — January 1, 2023
Lenoir- Myrtle “Mert” Jean Trivette, age 71, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023 at Caldwell UNC Healthcare. She was born in Watauga County on February 20, 1951 to the late Horton Canter and Earlene Trivette.
Mert will be remembered as a loving and friendly person that never met a stranger. Her family and friends will forever miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Lloyd David Oaks.
Mert is survived by her sisters, Judy P. Barnes and Paula Kinney; brother, Earl Plitt and Karen Davis.
A private memorial service for Mert will be held at a later date.
