Norma Lee Williams

Norma Lee Grogan Williams, age 79, passed away on November 8, 2022. She was born in Ashe County on April 7, 1943 to the late Norman and Maude Grogan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max A. Williams, daughter, Amanda Clark Barbare and her sister, Wanda Corum.

Norma is survived by her son, Mitchell Clark; daughter, Lori Downey; sisters, Gaye Talley and Carol Brooks; brothers, Bill Grogan and David Grogan; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren;

Norma had previously been employed at Broyhill Furniture and Hudson Middle School. She was a member of Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church for 45 years.

A memorial service for Norma will be held at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church at a date to be announced.
