Norman Chandler

Lenoir – Norman Jesse Chandler, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Caldwell Hospice. He was born in Caldwell County on October 5, 1948 to the late Bruce Norman Chandler and Loree Decker Seagle. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran. He served in Vietnam where he received numerous medals, including a Purple Heart. He was loving father, grandfather, brother and son. He is survived by his sons; Joshua Norman Chandler and Matthew Richard Chandler; daughters, Renae Chandler and Rachelle Chandler; brother, Jerry Chandler and wife, Kim; sisters, Mitzi White, Francine Guild and Nancy Bryant; grandchildren and nieces and nephews. The family will have a gathering of friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
