Pamela Ann Dula

Granite Falls– Mrs. Pamela Ann Starnes Dula, age 60, of Granite Falls, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.Born November 13, 1954 in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Barbara Hilton Starnes. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her three daughters, Crystal Michelle Dula, Leslie Ann Dula and Heather Deanna Dula.She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Starnes and granddaughter, Angel Michelle. Pamela was a charter member of New Vision Fellowship Baptist Church where she was very active.She was a shift-supervisor at CVS in Hudson.She enjoyed scrapbooking and her nieces and nephews were the loves of her life. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey D. Dula to whom she had shared 41 years of marriage; her sister, Sherry Mikucki and husband Pete of Hickory; two brothers, Kenny Starnes and wife Ronette of Grace Chapel; Tim Starnes of Bethlehem and a multitude of nieces and nephews and other relatives. A celebration of Pamela’s life will be held at 12:30 on Friday, October 9, 2015 at New Vision Fellowship Baptist Church with Reverend Ashley Crouse officiating.Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday prior to the service from 11:00 until 12:30 at the church. Pallbearers will be:Tim Starnes, Tony Winkler, Jimmy Starnes, Ethan Winkler, Adam Overcash and Kerwin Dula.
