Lenoir– Mrs. Pansy Mae Phillips Greene Laws, age 84, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. Mrs. Laws was born April 29, 1931 in Wilkes county to Clarence and Beatrice Walsh Phillips. She is preceded in death by her husbands; Clyde Greene Sr. and Robert (Bob) Laws Jr., her grandson; Clyde Greene III, her great-granddaughters; Krista McQueen and Vanessa Greene, her sisters; Annie Greene, Delta, Lucy, Mary Vee, Geraldine, Ernie, and Betty, her brothers; Don, June and Wilford, and her Ex. Son-in-law; Ted R. White. She is survived by her son; Clyde Greene Jr. and wife Carolyn of Florida, her daughter Barbara Greene White Pitts and husband Ralph Pitts of Hudson, NC, her grandchildren; Melissa Greene Michaux, Susan Greene, Betty White McQueen (Danny), Teresa White, her great-granchildren; Jessica Haigler, Kamerin McQueen Lafon, (Andrew) Pashence Johnson, Coty White, Adam, Harvey Jr., her great-great-grandchildren; Raylee Lafon, Gabriel, Hunter, Liam and her 2 special sisters-in-law; Linda Greene Icenhour and Mary Phillips. She and her grand-daughter; Teresa White, had a very special bond/relationship. Mrs. Laws was a member of Whitnel Pentecostal Holiness Church. A celebration of Mrs. Laws Life will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at The Chapel of Evans Funeral Service at 11:00AM with Pastor Keith Gilliam officiating. Entombment will take place immediately following the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The Laws family will receive friends and family from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. One hour prior to the service.
