Pansy Estes Montalto

Pansy Montalto Lenoir – Mrs. Pansy Estes Montalto, age 89, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice. She was born in Caldwell County on January 17, 1926 to the late Frank B. Estes and Bessie Shoemake Estes. Mrs. Montalto lived in Connecticut for 35 years where she met her late husband, Lawrence “Larry” Montalto. She was of Baptist faith. In addition to her parents and husband, Larry, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Alex, Rufus, Clyde, Lloyd, and Dallas Estes and her sister, Mattie Estes Chandler. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of Mrs. Montalto’s life will be held at Mulberry Baptist Church on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 3:00 PM with Pastors James Todd III and Bennett Helton officiating. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
