Lenoir– Patrice “Pat” Carol Malone Linn, age 60, passed away on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care. She was born in Savannah, GA on March 12, 1955 to the late W. Michael Malone and Barbara Greenlee Malone. She was married to Jeffrey “Jeff” Linn of the residence. Pat was active in the ministry of Lower Creek Baptist Church where she served as church librarian, worked on the kitchen committee, was a member and treasurer of the Couples 5 Sunday School class, and was active in the WMU Ellen Steele Circle. She worked for Home Care Management for 15 years. Pat loved camping and going on cruises with her family. Pat was so good to people in her life – so considerate and caring. When she gave, it was easy to see that it came straight from her heart and it gave everyone around her the gift of a nicer world to live in. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Tonya Harvey and husband, Matt of St. Mary’s, GA; Chad Craven of Charleston, SC; Holly Wilt and husband, Eddie of Charleston, SC; sister, Judith Pfaehler and husband, Lindsey of Goose Creek, SC; brothers, Tony Malone and wife, Brenda of Charleston, SC and Shawn Malone and wife, Michelle of Santee, SC; grandchildren, Leah Rosado, Ryan Craven and Sarah Wilt. A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at Lower Creek Baptist Church on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Rick Kallstrom officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall from 3:00 until 4:00 prior to the service. The family respectfully requests that memorials be sent to Caldwell Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC or Lower Creek Baptist Church, General Fund, 633 Lower Creek Drive, Lenoir, NC 28645.
