Patty Sue Watson

Patty Sue Watson, 78, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, July 25, 2025.

Patty was born March 6, 1947, to the late James and Dorothy Walsh.

In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by her husband, Harley Wayne Watson; sisters, Martha and Frances; and brother, James Walsh.

Those left to cherish Patty’s memory are her children, James “Peanut” Watson (Donnia “Boo”), Michael “Weezie” Watson (Tracy), Tammy Roland (Mark), Wanda Triplett (Chad); grandchildren, Michelle “Sheller” Bentley (Dusty) – the favorite, Chris Watson- the favorite, Lakken Watson – the favorite, Logan Triplett- the favorite; great grandchildren, Haley Bentley, Harley Bentley, Noah Bentley; sisters, Elizabeth Triplett (Roger), Anna George, Sharon Henson (Billy); and loving dog, Cocoa California.

Patty loved her family, friends and above all, she loved the Lord. She enjoyed her scratch off lottery tickets, playing poker, game shows, making her famous spaghetti, and absolutely loved Christmas and Elvis. Patty was the life of the party, loved to cut up and have a good time.

She will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved her.

A service to celebrate Patty’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service with Pastor’s Ronnie Miller and Raymond Spann officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.

Serving as pallbearers are Dusty Bentley, Lakken Watson, Chris Watson, Logan Triplett, Eddie Land, Tanner Edge, Nelson Bentley, and Noah Bentley.
