Paul Nathaniel Fritts

Hudson- Paul Nathaniel Fritts, age 66, passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Caldwell Hospice & Palliative Care in Lenoir. He was born in Caldwell County on August 16, 1951 to the late Dolphus A. Fritts and Edna Stanbery Fritts. Paul was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and he was an exceptional guitarist. Music was always an important part of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wives, Beverly Mitchum Fritts, Laura Sisk Fritts and Cindy Coffey Fritts; brother, Jimmy Fritts Andrews and two infant siblings. Paul is survived by his sons, Brian Fritts and Brandon Fritts; sister, Ruth Herold and Butch Gabbart; sister, Elaine Cornett and husband, Bud; sister, Linda Delehanty and husband, Ray; sister, Betty Dalbey; brother, Lonnie Dickens; very special friend and companion, Patty Swanner; granddaughter, Brianna Fritts; great-grandson, Alexander; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Wally Mitchum and Larry Rhyder will conduct the service.
