Paul Lemond Price

  Lenoir -Born August 29th, 1933 in Lenoir, NC went to live in his eternal home with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 26, 2013. Son of the late Martha Poarch Price and late William Riley Price also of Lenoir.  Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his only daughter, Judy Marie Price Greene. Two brothers: Horace and Ronda Price. Three Sisters: Pansy Price, Annie Lou Price, and Vernie Price. And a beloved dog, Mandy.  Paul was married to his wonderful wife Barbara Lowe Price for over 58 years. Along with their daughter they had two sons that they are extremely proud of: Larry Price and wife Joyce of Collettsville, NC and Eric Price and wife Stephanie of Glen Alpine, NC. And their son-in-law: Terry Greene of Lenoir.  He had five grandchildren that he loved dearly. Chad Price and Becky of Connelly Springs, NC. Melissa Greene King and husband Todd of Gamewell. Matthew Price of Lenoir. Jarrett Greene and wife Lacy of Lenoir. Trent Price of Glen Alpine, NC. A special niece who was like a granddaughter, Larissa Sanders and husband A.J. of Granite Falls. Two great- grandchildren: Hailey and Caleb King, and a faithful canine companion that was always by his side, Sophie.  Siblings include: Inez Dula, Sue Lowe, Vonnie Anderson, and Ruby Herman. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  Paul had a variety of jobs throughout his life. He was a charter member of Star Emergency Unit (later to be named as Lenoir Rescue Squad). Mooney's Plumbing and Broyhill. He was the owner of The Game Room that was on Harper Ave. Operator of Setzer's Fish Pond in Gamewell. And he loved working on furniture at Affordable Furniture.  Paul enjoyed going to yard sales every weekend and talking to others about Christ. He was active in the prison ministry at Caldwell Correctional Center for a number of years.  He was an avid fan Lenoir High Bearcats and the Atlanta Braves.  He was a faithful member of Heavenly Hope Baptist Church of Lenoir.  A celebration of Paul’s life will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM Heavenly Hope Baptist Church with Pastor Benny Greene, Pastor Ed Warren and Jarrett Greene officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.  The family respect PDF Printable Version
