Pauline Nelson Haas

Lenoir, NC- Mrs. Pauline Nelson Haas, age 83, of Lenoir, died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. Born December 7, 1927 in Caldwell County, Mrs. Haas was a daughter of the late Robert and Junie Phillips Nelson and the wife of the late Arnold Frank Haas. Other than her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Audria June Cobb; one great-granddaughter, Victoria Woodruff; 5 sisters, Ellen Wilburn and husband Carl; Mary Woods and husband Lee; Louise Adams; Minnie Harrison and husband Deb; Lib Wright and husband Tom; 2 brothers, Ed Nelson and wife Mary and Arney Nelson and wife Theda. She is survived by one brother-in-law, Walt Adams of Lenoir; 4 grandchildren, Tyron Haas; Todd Woody; Tracy Woody and Taylor Woody and wife Valerye, all of Lenoir and 6 great-grandchildren, Katie, Bethony, Jennie, Kassie, Jessica and Trey. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Evans Funeral Service & Crematory in Lenoir. A graveside service will follow at Bethel Advent Christian Church Cemetery with Reverend Bobby Pritchard officiating.
