Ralph Wilson Mcgee

Mr. Ralph Wilson McGee, age 94, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at his home. Born August 16, 1926 in Caldwell County, Ralph was a son of the late Lee and Maudie White McGee.Ralph was a veteran of World War II where he served as a MP in the Army.He loved the outdoors.He was especially known for farming, working in his garden, fixing molasses and spending time in his barn.He also enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting.He also enjoyed reading and doing word puzzles.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lula Bean McGee; Rick Lee McGee (wife Cindy); Lorie Ann Ingle (husband Jeff); his grandchildren, Heather Ingle Ormand (husband Adam), Ashley Ingle, Ethan McGee and Kayla McGee; his great grandchildren, Leona Ormand, Eirin Ormand and Astrid Ormand; a brother, Fred McGee; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. A memorial service celebrating Ralph’s life will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Union Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mark Robinette officiating.
