Reba Woods

Lenoir- Mrs. Reba Carlton Woods, age 87, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at Glenbridge Health and Rehab in Boone. She was born in Wilkes County on January 1, 1930 and she was the daughter of Partee and Oma Hinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Clay Pennell, Buell Pless and Joe Woods; and her brother, William Minton. She was a member of Lower Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Woods is survived by her children, Lee Pennell and wife, Debbie; Barry Pless and wife, Lindsay; Jeff Pless and wife, Lynn; Joseph Gene Woods and wife, Carol; Sheila Pless Coyne and husband, Dick; Tina W. Triplett and husband, Ned; Virginia Ann Falzone and husband, Alfred; sister, Gail Hinson Price; brothers, Paul Hinson; Charles Minton; and Jack Minton; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Mrs. Woods’ life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 4:00 PM.
