Robert "Bob" L. Spaeth, 60, of Lenoir, North Carolina, passed away on May 2, 2026, at Frye Regional Medical Center.

Bob was born on June 22, 1965 to Katherine and the late Lloyd Spaeth.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters; Elizabeth Benfield (Lee) and Jennifer Spaeth(Gary); seven grandchildren, Darren, Riann, Damon, Gavin, Noah, Logan, and Kaida; seven siblings, Terry (Mike) Melaney, Jack Spaeth, Mary (Tom) Loduha, Karen (Tom) Wilde, Donna (Don) Scharfenberg, Andy (Janice) Spaeth, and Pete (Sheila); many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Bob was a man who found joy in the simple and meaningful things in life. He loved spending time outdoors, where he felt most at peace, and had a natural talent for building and creating. Whether working on projects or enjoying nature, he took pride in using his hands and sharing his skills with his grandchildren. Above all, he deeply loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

He will be remembered for his dedication, his craftsmanship, and the love he had for those closest to him. Bob’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

A receiving to honor Bob's life will be held on Saturday May 30, 2026, in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  

The celebration of Bob's life in Wisconsin will be held on June 22, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Regner Park Community Center (Access driveway, 1225 Park Avenue).
