Ronald Lander Baucom

Ronald Baucom Lenoir, NC- Ronald Lander Baucom, age 47 passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 19, 2013. He was born in Rock Hill, SC on July 15, 1966 to the late William Fulton Baucom and Harriet Lander Baucom. He was married to Elizabeth Gragg Baucom of the residence. Ronald was an employee of Furniture Brands in Lenoir. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Earl Samuel Baucom,Sr.. Other than his wife he is survived by his son Corey Lander Baucom and wife, Jessica; step-daughters, Christan McLean and Leslie McLean; brother, William Baucom and wife, Vickie of Rock Hill, SC; grandsons, Isaiah Gordon Shatley and Cameron Jacob McLean; soon-to-be grandson Colton Lander Baucom; niece, Miranda Nicole Baucom; nephews, Earl Samuel Baucom, Jr., Ronald Christopher Baucom, Michael Baucom and wife, Kim of Rock Hill, SC; and several great-nieces and nephews. A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 12:00 Noon with Pastor Raymond Spann officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at the Coffey Cemetery in Carey’s Flat. Pallbearers will be J.R. Shatley, Chris “Scooter” Baucom, Earl “Tookie” Baucom, Michael Baucom, Thomas Ward, Mike Gann, J.R. Todd, and Jon Nelson. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Ledford and Ron Church. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 6:00 until 7:30 PM.
