Ronald Lane Clark

Ronald Clark Hudson – Mr. Ronald Lane Clark, age 75, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Clark was born in Catawba County on June 15, 1940 to the late Arnold Lane Clark and Kathleen Hines Clark. He was married to Brenda Travis Clark for 53 years. Mr. Clark was a loving husband, father and grandfather. When he was not working at his store, Clark’s Furniture, he enjoyed gardening and fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kimberly Clark. Other than his wife, he is survived by his children, Valerie Kelly and husband, Ken; Kevin Clark and wife, Ann; Vicki Clark and fiancée, Donald Bean; grandchildren, Micah Kelly; Noah Clark and Emma Clark; Scottie Barnes; and granddog, Winnie. A celebration of Mr. Clark’s life will be held in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Service on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 3:00 with Pastor Mark Marshall and Scottie Barnes officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Hickman Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 prior to the service.
