Ronald Lee Sigmon

Hickory, NC- Mr. Ronald Lee Sigmon, age 65, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Hospice of Catawba Valley. He was born in Annapolis, MD on July 5, 1947 to the late Jack Willard Sigmon and Dorothy Auton Sigmon. Mr. Sigmon was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served as a medic and later worked at Broughton Hospital for 23 years. He helped rehabilitate people with brain injuries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Lee Sigmon, Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Allen, Sheila Lail and Wendy Sigmon Horton; grandchildren, Christopher, Justin, Joshua and Dawson Lail, Morgan Sigmon, and Ethan Horton; great-grandson, Jaden Sigmon; brothers, Jack W. Sigmon, Jr. and Clyde David Sigmon; and sister, Marsha A. Sigmon. A funeral service will be held at a later date.
